Terms of Service

By accessing or using RaiderKarma ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

RaiderKarma is a community-driven platform that allows players of Arc Raiders to:

• Submit and view player reputation reports
• Track "karma" scores based on community feedback
• Search for and view player profiles using Embark IDs
• Claim and verify ownership of their in-game identity
• Participate in community challenges and earn achievements

The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted content.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Discord authentication. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

When using the Service, you agree NOT to:

• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory reports about other players
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Impersonate another person or claim ownership of an Embark ID you do not own
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to manipulate karma scores or submit bulk reports
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or exploit vulnerabilities
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Use the Service to organize harassment campaigns against players
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate the system

All reports must be truthful and based on genuine in-game experiences. False reports may result in account suspension and removal of your submitted content.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit (reports, descriptions, screenshots). By submitting content, you grant RaiderKarma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by RaiderKarma and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Content: Arc Raiders, Embark IDs, and all related game content are trademarks and property of Embark Studios AB. Our use of such content is for community purposes under fair use principles.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of user-submitted content

We do not verify the accuracy of player reports. Karma scores reflect community feedback and should not be considered definitive judgments of player behavior.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAIDERKARMA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Any damages resulting from user-submitted content or interactions between users
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

Section 230 Notice: In accordance with Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230), RaiderKarma is an interactive computer service that enables user-generated content. As such:

• We are not the publisher or speaker of any information provided by users
• We are not liable for content posted by third-party users
• Reports, comments, and other user submissions represent the views of their authors only
• We act in good faith to moderate objectionable content but cannot guarantee complete removal

While we moderate content, you are solely responsible for the content you submit. False, defamatory, or malicious reports may expose you to legal liability.

If you believe a report about you is false or defamatory, you may:

• Submit an appeal through the dispute system on your profile
• Provide evidence to support your appeal
• Request review by our moderation team

Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to make final decisions regarding content moderation.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using RaiderKarma, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such information.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RaiderKarma, its operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service
• Your conduct in connection with the Service

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit against RaiderKarma or its operators.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
